Grass and Gravel Protection (Porous Paving)

SCS INTEGRA 500 is the natural choice for designers wishing to replicate natural grass or gravel whilst maintaining the structural performance associated with more traditional forms of paving, whilst SCS Agrablock is an ideal choice for either grass or gravel protection systems where less demanding loading conditions are present.
Storm-water Management
SCS AQUAVOID-D is a structural polypropylene water-permeable box with a large storage capacity. Its high strength and versatility of its modular design makes SCS AQUAVOID-D an ideal choice where rainwater, collected from roofs or roads needs to be slowly infiltrated into the soil or where discharge attenuation is required. Offering dramatic savings against traditional ring soakaways this system is increasingly popular with developers and specifiers as part of their response to both PPG3 and PPG25.
Rainwater Harvesting
The demand for fresh water continues to grow rapidly and with it the associated cost of supply. Increasingly, Water Companies are unable to meet the demand of modern development requirements, giving developers the problem of how to organise supply whilst minimising or offsetting these costs . SCS FREERAIN has been specifically designed to meet these needs. By collecting rainwater from the roofs, filtering and storing it substantial savings can be made. Ideal for both domestic and commercial / industrial schemes SCS FREERAIN can save up to 50% of traditional water consumption providing substantial savings.
Water Quality
Water contamination and pollution, in particular by oil or hydrocarbons generally has become a major environmental issue. Source Control Systems is now able to offer cost effective solutions for removing hydrocarbons from flowing water and is able to provide effective solutions for hydrocarbon removal within stormwater specifically for airports, highways, marinas, boats, beaches and industrial premises. SCS SMART SPONGE applications are able to remove up to 97% of all oil contaminants and present efficient and cost effective solutions. Once saturated SCS SMART SPONGE is not only non-leaching but can be used successfully within Waste for Energy schemes.
